Let's get something dead straight before we start.

I hate health related websites. . I hate them more than you do, and I always have.

Really, I do. And if you give me a few seconds I will tell you why.

But first, let's start with how I got here, and why I'm writing this...

My name's Gordon Bryan, and I turned 40 in 2006..
To mark it I decided to train for, and run the London Marathon.

Being completely unfit, I did lots of research about training programs, and found

incidentally came not from running, but from playing bass guitar!
