What Is The Rock & Roll Town?
Ooh, good question, here's the answer...
It's a song and a concept.
Rock music people have the reputation of being an unfriendly bunch, but usually that just not true.
Rock music people are often the most open-minded folk you can meet, welcoming to allcomers, with a 'live and let live' ethos.
To be honest we could do with a lot more of it in the world today.
"A town full of rockers, from near and far,
Where everyone drives a ZZ Top car"

Rock music should makes me smile in my mind, so when I hit the dreaded 40th birthday in 2006, I wrote
'Rock & Roll Town' with that in mind, and then thought 'hmm, why don't I put up a site where people can hear different
versions of the song, and 'join' Rock & Roll Town to express solidarity with the idea?'
Whenever you hear the song, you should think of the following that Rock gives us...
- An opportunity to express ourselves.
- An oppotunity to be creative.
- A like-minded community.
- Good old fashioned fun!
If you see anyone with a Rock&Roll Town t-shirt, go up and say hello, it'll make you all smile I promise!
Grab your own shirt and see who says hello to you!
"I wanna break down the gates, open the locks,
Where the cows moo metal, the dogs bark rock"
Take a look around the site, listen to the different versions of the song as they become available, get your favourite band
to record it, or record it yourself, look at the other 'citizens' of the Rock & Roll Town, grab a tshirt, and above all...
keep rocking!
Thanks and have a
great day!

Rockingly yours,
