    The Great Gordino Newsletter - Issue 349 - Mon 16th Jan 2006

Archive Issues online at - gordonbryan.com/archive
    Hi There,
I hope everything is ok where you are.
A quick update on my American Football attempts - I was only
sick twice yesterday, so I must be getting fitter!
I still didn't get to try the kicking, but I got myself a ball,
and will have a kick about this week to see how I get on.
To be honest, I suspect I am carrying 14lbs too much weight,
and 20-25 too many years, but I will plug on until it is out of
    my system, (like yesterday's breakfast).
So, with this issue being number 349, next week will be the
    350th issue.
Regular readers will know that on anniversaries like that I like
to use the same piece of writing every time.
It's not often that I use something I didn't write myself, but
this particular piece is such a cracker that I like to keep featuring it.
If that's whetted your appetite, see you next week!
    Back to today...
With it coming up to 350 issues, and the 3rd anniversary of my
starting the newsletter not far away, I have been wondering what
to do to mark the occasion.
It is also the Big 4-0 for me this year, so I feel a project of
    some sort coming on.
The 3 areas of focus for this newsletter are goal achievement,
    self improvement and wealth creation.
I like to relay how I see others progress in these areas, and
    how I do it myself.
I was thinking if it might be an idea for you to suggest a project
    for me.
I have something in mind myself, but would love to hear your
    suggestions.
If you can think of anything for me to do, which would test me in
the areas of goal achievement, self improvement, wealth creation,
    let me know.
I can't say I'll take it on, but it's more than possible that someone
will come up with an idea that really appeals.
I'm quite excited about it, who knows what adventures could be
    in front of me!
Maybe it's to realise my ambition of being on the Royal Variety
Performance with my unicycle ballet act.
Since I stood for election to Parliament last year, maybe I should
set out a 3 year campaign for the next election.
Last year I got all excited when I thought I had met a woman who
was just right for me, only for her to decide I wasn't just right for
her, so maybe I should really make a proper effort to find myself that
    special partner this year.
Just at the end of last year I took up playing the bass, and really loved it.
Way back in my past I always wanted to start a cabaret band called The Great
Gordino's Rock &Roll Glitter Bandits, so maybe I should concentrate my
    efforts on that.
I do like my sport, and with the 2012 Olympics coming to London, maybe I
should set my sights on a gold medal in 6 years.
I've tried long jump (twanged hamstring), and the pole vault (scared of heights),
but there are lots of other sports for me to have a go at.
Maybe I should enrol in drama school? In all honesty I couldn't see myself
doing Shakespeare, it would most likely have to be comedy, but there's
    nothing wrong with that.
    See?
That's 6 ideas, all brewing around in my head.
If I don't get a better one, it will probably be one of those, but I'd
love for you to wrack your brain and see if you can come up with something
else to grab my attention, or maybe you like the sound of one of my suggestions.
So come on, have a really good think and get in touch.
It's a fairly short issue this week because I've thrown the onus,
(thank god for spell check), I've thrown the onus on you to write to me.
I can't wait for the 350th issue next week, and I can't wait to hear how
creative you can be with your project ideas!
    'Til Next Time,
    Health and Happiness,
    Gordon
