    Hi There,

I hope all is well where you are.

I've often mentioned a newsletter written by Martin Avis.
It's called Kickstart Daily, and I like it because it has the kind of
content I enjoy - business observations, life improvement
    observations, and plain silly observations!
He has more life experience than me, I wouldn't exactly call him
an old duffer, but he's closer to Old-duffersville than I am!
It prompts me to think often, and in keeping with what I wrote in
issue 338 of this Newsletter, I'm going to take up 3 points he
    has mentioned.
By the way, you can read 338 of my newsletter, which I
called 'Don't Take It, Tweak It' here:

Anyway, in a recent issue, Martin mentioned that a chocolate bar
has an average of 8 insect legs in it.
Quite where he digs out these facts is beyond me, but it must
be like an insect zoo inside me with all the chocolate I get
    through!
I have a rampant sweet tooth, and like to limit myself to 1 bar a
day, in order not to get carried away.
What I find though, is that after a while, I slip to 2 bars a day,
telling myself that I'll make sure I only have 1 tomorrow.
It's a classic goal achievement mistake, and will scupper your
    chances everytime.
The mistake is easy to see, I am making my affirmation, which
I know is realistic, and I know why I want it.
However, I am letting myself down on the ACTION, by telling
myself I will stick to it tomorrow.
After reading Martin's quite-possibly-made-up fact about
chocolate and insect legs, I shook my head that I was cheating
on my own goal achievment, and decided to go a whole week
    without chocolate.
    Why?
Well, the main reason is that it re-inforces the message to my
mind that I am quite able to stick to a goal, even if I don't enjoy
    the short term changes.
This morning sees the end of the experiment.
I certainly did have withdrawal pangs, many a quiet hour spent
looking at the chocolate in the cupboard, wondering if it was
moving sideways like an insect does.
This morning as I savoured a big chunk of chocolate, it
reminded me of another goal achievement nugget - to make
your goals realistic, particularly on eating habits.
Stopping an eating pattern entirely is not a route I recommend.
Some people do, but I hold the view that a little bit of what you
fancy does you good, which is why I ration myself to 1 bar a day,
as opposed to cutting it out entirely!

The 2nd point of Martin's was about a business start -up TV
    program.
There are a lot of them around at the moment.
What amazes me is the amount of people who will put in huge
amounts of money, from £30,000 to £300,000 on new
businesses about which they often don't have the faintest idea!
You would think that logic would tell them that they need to do
at least basic research, but many people don't, and then seem
surprised when the business doesn't take off!
The logic, however, gets lost in the enthusaism - it's another
    goal achievement mistake!
Do your research, and you absolutely must be prepared to pull
out of an idea if the facts tell you so!

Since the explosion of the internet, it is not difficult to start an
    online business.
The start up costs are hugely reduced compared to offline, and if
you sell information, your investment can be laughably small.
It's still easy to make mistakes, but the learning curve doesn't
    have to be expensive.

The 3rd point Martin has recently mentioned is regarding Kim
    Standerline.
I first met Kim at the same time as Martin, at an internet
    marketing seminar.
A voracious learner, Kim has taken all the lessons on board, and
more importantly, put them into practice!
She has used her many years of experience as a registered
nurse as the core of her business, she hasn't strayed into
    unknown territory.

Her latest site is called Niche Health Products.
It's a cracker, it provides exclusive content, much of which you
can claim authorship of, the rest of which you can use to tap into
a much searched and potentially lucrative niche market.
This means you have great material with which to enter this
    particular niche.
There is also a forum, which is a great resource on its' own.
In Kim's own newsletter, she offered a $10 monthly discount on
    the $29 normal price.
    That offer has now expired.
In Martin's newsletter, he offered a $10 monthly discount also,
agreed with Kim and her business partner, Ishi Bansal.
    That offer has also expired.

True to tried and tested internet marketing technique, these
discounts were offered as incentives, and once the deadlines
    passed, the offer was withdrawn.

I've spoken to Kim, and since the discount will not be offered
again, I asked her if it would be ok for me to give a $10
    discount myself.
If you sign up under my affiliate link, you pay the full $29
monthly price, but I get an affiliate commission.
However, I will then personally refund you $10 a month.
The only reason I asked Kim is because she's an old online
buddy of mine, and I wanted to keep her updated.
Once the membership hits 500, the memberships will be closed,
this is to ensure the exclusivity of the products.
The last I heard, there were less than 100 available.

Even if you don't want to join, it's well worth looking at the site.
Remember that Kim started with no internet knowledge, she has
    learnt as she went along.
Do the sums, and consider this - if Kim did it, why can't you!

If you do decide to join up, it must be via my affiliate link below.
You will pay the full $29 month, but I will refund you $10
    monthly.

I'd be interested to hear what you think.

Ok, I did say I would be talking about prosperity in alternative
universes today, but I wanted to mention Kim's site while the
    memberships were still available!

    Have a good week.

    'Til Next Time,
    Health and Happiness,
